CEMETS and the LELAM-TVET4Income countries
LELAM-TVET4Income countries have been participating in the CEMETS summer institutes since 2017. New research and testimonials from participants shed light on how their participation is impacting the TVET landscape.

The Center on the Economics and Management of Education and Training Systems (CEMETS) at ETH Zurich aims to enhance knowledge exchange between leading researchers, policymakers, and practitioners from all around the world through an annual institute. Amela Zubovic, Katherine Caves, and LELAM Coordinator Patick McDonald from the Chair of Education Systems have carried out a preliminary analysis of survey data from LELAM CEMETS Summer Institute participants since 2017. This data shows improvement across almost all measured indicators for participants: knowledge of education systems and VET programs, readiness to lead educational reforms, and strength of the reform cases.
