For Policy Makers

CEMETS Institute

The Center on the Economics and Management of Education and Training Systems (CEMETS) is a sister-initiative of the LELAM-TVET4 INCOME project at the Chair of Education Systems. As a research program, it is dedicated to the improvement of vocational education and training worldwide through support of economic policy development for educational reform leaders, and through the education of the next generation of scholars. It accomplishes these goals through a development program that offers knowledge and assistance to reform efforts worldwide and brings together the best minds in research and practice.

CEMETS' annual Institute on Economic Policy Development for Educational Reform Leaders is its flagship project and is open to policy makers in vocational education and training from all over the world. In the framework of the LELAM-TVET4INCOME project, two policy makers from each of the four partner countries Benin, Chile, Costa Rica and Nepal will participate in the CEMETS Institute every year.
